EnviChem 1420 is a specially formulated steam boiler treatment product.

PRINCIPAL USES

– EnviChem 1420 is designed to assure a high level of cleanliness in the boiler system, especially on the heat transfer surfaces. The product supports internal metal passivation in feedwater and boiler system.
– EnviChem 1420 can be used at boiler systems with deaerators and with demineralized, RO-permeate make-up with a total hardness up to 5 ppm.
– EnviChem 1420 is not volatile and is in compliance with FDA and USDA regulations.
– EnviChem 1420 can be used at pressures up to 40 bars.

DOSAGE

The specific dosage of EnviChem 1420 varies depending on the feed water quality and pressure. Envi Eco will recommend the optimum dosage necessary to ensure maximum program perfor-mance according to your specific system parameters.
FEEDING:
EnviChem 1420 is applied neat or diluted with softened water, condensate (<35°C) or deaerated boiler feedwater via a stainless steel quill into the suction side of feedwater pump.
EnviChem 1420 must be feed continuously; any interruption in feed will result in scale or deposit formation and possible tube failure. If feed water is used for steam attemperation, the product must be fed downstream of the attemperation water takeoff.
MATERIALS: Storage and application equipments (pumps, lines) should be made of stainless steel 304 and 316, PE, PVC or PTFE. Do not use aluminum, copper, brass, polyester or zinc in contact with the neat product

HANDLING-STORAGE-SHIPPING

As a standard precaution with all chemicals we recommend the use of personal protective equip-ments such as goggles and rubber gloves when handling. Consult the Material Safety Data Sheet as the only official source of Environmental and Safety information.
EnviChem 1420 can be stored for at least 24 months from date of shipping if kept in its original, unopened container and under normal warehouse conditions. Protect from freezing and from exposure to high temperature.
EnviChem 1420 is available in non-returnable containers of different sizes.
