Description

EnviChem 6540 is an innovative, proprietary, high performance polymer designed for sludge and wastewater treatment.
EnviChem 6540 is architecturally modified on the molecular level, providing unique solution properties and performance
characteristics. EnviChem 6540 is a medium cationic, highmolecular weight, liquid latex flocculant. Solutions of  EnviChem 6540 in water are of different viscosity, depending on product, concentration of polymer, quality (hardness, pH, …) and temperature of the water.

EnviChem 6540 provides superb sludge dewatering performance in high shear applications such as filter presses and centrifuges.

DOSAGE

The dosage is highly dependent on the application and system conditions.
EnviChem 6540 requires dilution prior to use. Concentrations of 0,5 – 1,5 % are recommended for solutions of the products.
Your EnviChem representative will recommend the optimum dosage necessary to ensure maximum program performance according to your specific system parameters.
FEEDING
A feed tank separate from the make-up tank is recommended to ensure continuous supply of the polymer solution. The stock solution should be further diluted. The extent of dilution required will vary according to the application, but normally dilutions of 0,01 – 0,05 % are recommended. An in-line static mixer allows the flocculant to be properly diluted. Feed the diluted flocculant in a manner that provides maximum distribution to the slurry solids. Your EnviChem representative can
assist to develop the most effective feed method for your plant.
MATERIALS: Storage and application equipment (pumps, lines)should be made of PE, CPVC (rigid), Plasite 4300 and 7122.
Do not use Stainless steel 304, Brass, Neoprene, Viton, Buna-N, PU, Hypalon, EPDM, PP and Mild Steel in contact with the neat product.

HANDLING-STORAGE-SHIPPING

As a standard precaution with all chemicals we recommend the use of personal protective equipments such as goggles and rubber gloves when handling. Consult the Material Safety Data Sheet as the only official source of Environmental and Safety information.
EnviChem 6540 can be stored for at least 24 months from date of shipping if kept in its original, unopened container and under normal warehouse conditions. Protect from freezing and from exposure to high temperature.
EnviChem 6540 is available in non-returnable containers of different sizes.
