EnviChem 190 CLEANING CHEMICAL

Description

EnviChem 190 is a special designed blend of surfactants and dispersants, a complexing agent and strong alkalizer in liquid form.

PRINCIPLE USES

EnviChem 190 has been developed to facilitate the cleaning operations of evaporator vessels in sugar mills, especially at the end of the campaign. It can be used in starch or tomato process evaporator CIP cleanings. It penetrates deposits of hardness builders and other insoluble salts and removes or loosens them for easy mechanical removal. EnviChem 190 can also be used in other industrial cleaning applications where insoluble alkaline-earth salts are the main problem and cannot be removed by usual acid or acidic cleaners.

DOSAGE

The specific dosage of EnviChem 190 will vary depending on the scaling tendencies of the system; Your local representative can help you determine the appropriate dosage for your system. EnviChem 190 must be used together with usual alkaline products like caustic soda, sodium carbonate or tri-sodium phosphate during the alkaline boilout process. It is applied in a 2 – 4% solution strength of the alkaline bath volume.
MATERIALS: Storage and application equipment (pumps, lines) should be made of stainless steel or plastic material like PE, PP, PVC with ethylene-propylene terpolymer (EPDM) seals. Do not use carbon steel, copper, aluminum or zinc in contact with the neat product.

HANDLING-STORAGE-SHIPPING

As a standard precaution with all chemicals we recommend the use of protective equipment such as goggles and rubber gloves when handling. Consult the Material Safety Data Sheet as the only official source of Environmental and Safety information.
The product can be stored up to 24 months from date of shipping if kept in its original unopened container and under normal warehouse conditions. Protect from freezing and from exposure to high temperature.
