EnviChem 9647 SUGAR EVAPORATOR SCALE INHIBITOR is based on a neutralized, FDA approved organic compounds in aqueous solution.
EnviChem 9647 provides excellent scale control in sugar juice evaporators in sugar mills. It is especially designed for cane sugar processing and in sugar plants where the juice is not or only partially softened.
EnviChem 9647 prevents or limits the formation of scale by insoluble salts on the evaporator heat transfer surfaces and reduces so the steam consumption. Further it will help keeping the highest evaporator throughput and production capacity and reduces or eliminates the need for chemical and mechanical cleanings with all associated problems in the process.

DOSAGE
The specific dosage of EnviChem 9647 will vary depending upon the operating characteristics of the diffusion system, the beet or cane quality of microbio problems encountered.
Typical dosage rates are 15-35 g/m3 sugar juice.
Your EnviChem representative will recommend the optimum dosage necessary to ensure maximum program performance according to your specific system parameters.
FEEDING
In most applications EnviChem 9647 should be injected continuously through dosing pump. It can be used in neat form (straight from the packaging) or in diluted form. Feeding can be automated by systems with on-line hardness measurement.
MATERIALS: Storage and application equipment (pumps, lines) should be made of stainless steel or plastic material like PE, PP, PVC with ethylene-propylene terpolymer (EPDM) seals. Do not use carbon steel, copper, aluminum, zinc or other divalent metals in contact with the neat product.
HANDLING-STORAGE-SHIPPING
As a standard precaution with all chemicals we recommend the use of personal protective equipments such as goggles and rubber gloves when handling. Consult the Material Safety Data Sheet as the only official source of Environmental and Safety information.
EnviChem 9647 can be stored for at least 24 months from date of shipping if kept in its original, unopened container and under normal warehouse conditions. Protect from freezing and from exposure to high temperature.
