Description

EnviChem 1550F is a multifunctional product containing oxygen scavengers, scale inhibitors and condensate corrosion inhibitors.

PRINCIPAL USES

EnviChem 1550F is designed to assure a high level of cleanliness in the boiler system, especially on the heat transfer surfaces, togetherwith a complete corrosion inhibiting action. The product supports internal metal passivation in feedwater and boiler system. EnviChem 1550F can be used at low pressure boiler systems without deaerator and with softened feedwater make-up with a total feedwater hardness up to 25 ppm. EnviChem 1550F is in compliance with FDA and USDA regulations. Suggested maximum use pressure for EnviChem 1550F is 40 bars.

DOSAGE

EnviChem 1550F dosage varies depending on the quality and pressure of feedwater.
Your EnviChem representative will recommend the optimum dosage necessary to ensure maximum program performance according to your specific system parameters.
To control the performance of EnviChem 1550F treatment, a suitable analytical procedure as well as a simple test-kit is available.
FEEDING
EnviChem 1550F is applied neat or diluted with demineralized water, condensate (<35°C) or deaerated boiler feedwater via a stainless steel quill into the deaerator or the feedwater line. EnviChem 1550F must be fed continuously; any interruption in feed will result in scale or deposit formation and possible tube failure. If feedwater is used for steam attemperation, the product must be fed downstream of the attemperation water takeoff. EnviChem 1550F should not be mixed with alkaline products.
MATERIALS: Storage and application equipments (pumps, lines) should be made of stainless steel 304 & 316, PE, PVC or PTFE. Do not use aluminium, copper, brass, polyester or zinc in contact with the neat product.

HANDLING-STORAGE-SHIPPING

As a standard precaution with all chemicals we recommend the use of personal protective equipments such as goggles and rubber gloves when handling. Consult the Material Safety Data Sheet as the only official source of Environmental and Safety information.
EnviChem 1550F can be stored for at least 24 months from date of shipping if kept in its original, unopened container and under normal warehouse conditions. Protect from freezing and from exposure to high temperature.
EnviChem 1550F is available in non-returnable containers of different sizes.
