PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

EnviChem 5031 is a concentrated formulation of high molecular weight polyphosphate compounds.

PRINCIPAL USES

EnviChem 5031 is a special blend of polyphosphates in liquid form for use as a corrosion inhibitor, scale prevention, iron and manganese stabilizer in industrial once-through cooling water systems and reverse osmosis systems. It is also used in thermal treatment applications like pasteurizer and sterilizer systems in the cooling section. It is applicable in domestic and potable water systems up to 75°C to effectively prevent scaling and corrosion.

DOSAGE

The specific dosage of EnviChem 5031 varies depending on the operating characteristics of your system and the water chemistry. In potable applications the dosage should not exceed 10 ppm.
Your EnviChem representative will recommend the optimum dosage necessary to ensure maximum program performance according to your specific system parameters.
FEEDING
EnviChem 5031 can be fed neat or in any convenient dilution, directly from the drum preferably volume proportioned controlled by water meter. Do not close storage tank tightly as product is slightly gassing. Storage tank and feed system should be heated to prevent freezing of product when temperature falls below 2°C.
MATERIALS: Storage and application equipments (pumps, lines) should be made of stainless steel or plastic materials like PE, PP, PVC or Fiberglass.

HANDLING-STORAGE-SHIPPING

As a standard precaution with all chemicals we recommend the use of personal protective equipments such as goggles and rubber gloves when handling. Consult the Material Safety Data Sheet as the only official source of Environmental and Safety information.
EnviChem 5031 can be stored for at least 24 months from date of shipping if kept in its original, unopened container and under normal warehouse conditions. Protect from freezing and from exposure to high temperature.
EnviChem 5031 is available in non-returnable containers of different sizes.
