EnviChem 9117 CORROSION INHIBITOR

Description

EnviChem 9117 is an aqueous carbonic acid and oxygen corrosion inhibitor containing film-forming amines.

DOSAGE

The specific dosage of EnviChem 9117 varies depending on return condensate rate, make-up water quality and CO2- content in the steam.
EnviChem 9117 should be fed to maintain a pH of 5.5 to 7.5 throughout the condensate system. Your EnviChem representative will recommend the optimum dosage necessary to ensure maximum program performance.
Recommended dosing point for EnviChem 9117 is steam header.
MATERIALS: Storage and application equipments (pumps, lines) should be made of stainless steel 304 and 316, PE, PP or Teflon.
Do not use Aluminum, Copper, Brass, Fiberglas, Galvanized steel (Zinc), Carbon steel, Nickel, PVC or PU in contact with the n eat product.

HANDLING-STORAGE-SHIPPING

As a standard precaution with all chemicals we recommend the use of personal protective equipment such as goggles and rubber gloves when handling. Consult the Material Safety Data Sheet as the only official source of Environmental and Safety information.
EnviChem 9117 can be stored for at least 24 months from date of shipping if kept in its original unopened container and under normal warehouse conditions. Protect from freezing and from exposure to high temperature.
EnviChem 9117 is available in non-returnable containers of different sizes.
