PRINCIPAL USES

EnviChem 1440 is designed to assure a high level of cleanliness in the boiler system, especially on the heat transfer surfaces, together with a corrosion inhibiting action. EnviChem 1440 can be used at pressures up to 40 bars.

DOSAGE

The specific dosage of EnviChem 1440 varies depending on the quality and pressure of feedwater. To control the performance of EnviChem 1440 treatment, a suitable analytical procedure as well as a test-kit is available.
Your EnviChem representative will recommend the optimum dosage necessary to ensure maximum program performance according to your specific system parameters.
FEEDING
EnviChem 1440 is applied neat or diluted with demineralized water, condensate (<35°C) or deaerated boiler feedwater via a stainless steel quill into the suction side of feedwater pump. EnviChem 1440 must be fed continuously; any interruption in feed will result in scale or deposit formation and possible tube failure. If feed water is used for steam attemperation, EnviChem 1440 must be fed downstream of the attemperation water takeoff. EnviChem 1440 must not be fed with alkaline products.
MATERIALS: Storage and application equipments (pumps, lines) should be made of stainless steel 304 and 316, PE, PVC or PTFE. Do not use aluminum, copper, brass, polyester or zinc in contact with the neat product.

HANDLING-STORAGE-SHIPPING

As a standard precaution with all chemicals we recommend the use of personal protective equipments such as goggles and rubber gloves when handling. Consult the Material Safety Data Sheet as the only official source of Environmental and Safety information.
EnviChem 1440 can be stored for at least 24 months from date of shipping if kept in its original, unopened container and under normal warehouse conditions. Protect from freezing and from exposure to high temperature.
EnviChem 1440 is available in non-returnable containers of different sizes.
